BIO :  The Dive were formed in the year 2000. Throughout the years the band has shaped their own , personal sound. Inspired by genres such as Seattle's grunge of the early 90's , the psychedelic rock of the 70's and the underground sound of stoner rock they have managed to stay true to their rock heritage but also in touch with the present sound.

The Dive have succeeded in composing songs that sound hard and full of energy on one hand and trippy and psychedelic on the other. Even though this kind of approach has been attempted before by other bands , the Dive have the ability to create hard rocking songs that don't have any metal influences , in contrast to most of the stoner bands around the world.

After numerous line-up changes, the Dive have already two official releases, participating in the two first 'In the junkyard' compilations. The Dive have played with many respected bands from the greek underground, such as Nightstalker, Echo tattoo, Liquidust, Cube, Low Gravity, Sugah Galore and others on most greek venues (Gagarin 205 , Small music theater , AN club , Rodeo , Odd club , Antiparos Fest, Indie Free fest). Their finest live appearance was however while supporting Seattle's garage giants Mudhoney in their live show in Athens...
