BIO :  Formed in early 2003 by V.Lesley and original drummer Max Million, later joined by friend, S. Sinz.  The Vels subconsciously parade some main influences such as 50’s do-whop, RnR, early Punk, New Wave, Glam and Reggae, having recorded their first hand-out promo by March 2003 and playing small, local venues by November. 

In mid 2004, they completed an EP mainly compiled of their earliest songs, which was never pushed into release. Due to personal reasons within the following year, they eventually withdrew from the scene after a last performance at Koumoundourou Square (Athens), on June 28, 2005.  

They later appeared in December 2006 with a two-piece, acoustic performance alongside friend, DD Dynamite and by Feb. 2007 began performing normally again at random venues with drummer, Dorah X.  The Velvoids currently plan to record newer material whilst continuing to perform live.
