With the release of their first full-length album by Run Devil Run Records, Jane Doe are getting interviewed. This fairly new band, hailing from Thessaloniki has already made an impression with its memorable live shows and their decision to release their first album online for free before they release it propely through Run Devil Run! The official release date of their new album is 20th of December.

Wednesday 7th May /// Next Spinalonga Show : Next friday!!! Planet Of Zeus, one of the heaviest rocking bands around, will celebrate the release of their debut album, released by Casket/Copro Records from UK, in a special event @ Rodeo Club! The show's openers will be Madleaf (also getting ready to release their first full length pretty soon!) with their dark, grunge influenced hard rock, and For What Is Worth with their hardcore/metalcore hybrid. Rumours circulate that Planet of Zeus will be playing some old favorites for their die-hard fans...a little more than one week to find out!
Saturday 03rd May /// Misuse will be playing list this Tuesday the 6th of May at Kyttaro club (Hpeirou 43 & Axarnon). They will perform their new debut album, released by Puzzlemusik and Spinalonga Records, in its entity! Modrec's guitarist side project, Spectralfire, will be the show's openers. Starts around 21.30. Wednesday 09th April /// We are very proud to announce our first two gigs with a foreing band, straight from Instabul,Tukrey : Gevende!!! Gevende play an experimental psychedelic folk... borrowing the aesthetics from balkan, oriental music, jazz and psychedelia!! The band has played all over europe, has traveled up to Nepal and back ! Next Wednesday, 16th of April, Gevende will perform at Thessaloniki, at Ksilourgio,Mylos and will be supported by the magnificent Sleepin Pillow. The next day, Thursday 17th of April, Gevende will perfom at AN Club, along with Sugah Galore and Night On Earth!!! It is very possible that you've never heard Gevende... so check this and this!!!
Tuesday 08th April /// Misuse, the third band that gets its first full length released by Spinalonga Records (along with PuzzleMusik) will be having their party at Vinyl Microstore, this Thursday the 10th of April at 19.00 sharp! entrace free, drinks free!!
Friday 28th March /// You can check the first issue of a new and exciting magazine concerning visual arts and more, Project Amoeba, and read an interview with Spinalonga Records! From now on you can order the new Modrec album from the website along with the other releases. Finally the second part of the In the Junkyard compilation has sold out!! You might find a few circulating copies in the underground though.... ;)
Saturday 15th March /// We would like to thank anyone to came to Semen of the Sun release party yesterday, you can now order the album here! The second debut album that Spinalonga Records will release is Modrec's 'Art Naive'! The album will be co-release with Bantha Records. The album was recorded at Fab Liquid Studios, produced by Modrec & Ottomo and mixed by Alex Newport! Modrec will play live at Kyttaro, next Tuesday. Entrace 8 euro. Opening act at the show : the Liarbirds.
Tuesday 11th March /// One day before Semen of the Sun's extremely rocking party at Mo Better, the band will appear on VinylRadio for an exclusive first listen of the new record, and some personal favorites! So, this Thursday the 13th at 4 in the afternoon, and for two hours you can listen to Semen of the Sun from your pc @ Vinyl Radio.
Thursday 6th March /// Finally, the news are officially announced! The Lab Records along with Spinalonga Records will release the debut album of Semen of the Sun, entitled 'Radio Adult, slow songs, cheese & wine'! The album was recorded & mixed at Fab Liquid Studios and mastered by Alan Douches (Clutch, Mastodon and more..)! The release party is set for the 14th of March @ Mo Better club, so come and get it! Entrance is of course free!!! Don't miss it!

Thursday 1st November /// The IN THE JUNKYARD FEST 3 is finally scheduled! On Friday 16th and Saturday 17th of November at Rodeo Club, the two-day fest will take place. On the first day: Fool in the Box, Low Gravity, Scab Level, the Dive, Bliss. Second day : Black Circus, the Velvoids, Semen of the Sun, Sleepin Pillow, Bad Mathematics.
