Besides running a big part of the Spinalonga collective, members of Cube are actually musicians themselves! And ambitious ones at that. Their goal from the get-go was to approach alt rock/metal music from a different (more oblique?) angle and to offer a constant rush of ideas without being trapped in over-progression. Pretty challenging, huh?
Their music output is limited to a decent demo (Worse than Satan, 2004) and a few tracks in various comps, including Rock’n’Roll Boulevard on Belgian Buzzville Records. They finally released the debut LP in a limited edition of 250 copies in 2012 by Spinalonga Records and Body Blows recs.
“Frontman” Whitehouse’s relocation to Aussie land, a couple of years ago, brought the band to a temporary halt. Today Nick is kicking ass as Cactus D and the rest of the band is now embarking on different journeys with their new bandmates Vaggelis (ex- the Bliss) on vox and Voltas on percussion. Mr. Patsaros (Echo Canyon, Misuse, Masturbation Goes Cloud) also seems a regular contributor.
